My inspiration

Everything in my life is organized to live, play, and work in the mountains that I love.

Winters are spent skiing the Skoki Valley and attending to the lodge.

Skoki Lodge was built in 1931 and has remained unaltered since 1936. This means for 6 months of the year I live like it’s the 30s with no running water and no electricity. My paintings are done under the light of oil lamp during the winters.

Summers are dedicated to planting trees and shenanigans

During tree planting I live in a tent trailer and my paintings are done in the mess tent amongst all the other planters. When I have time off shenanigans include but are not limited to hiking and climbing.

Painting Year-Round

It is a priviledge that I get to spend my days in the mountains. I create my art in an attempt to capture the everyday beauty of the land around us.
